This is the recording of my undergraduate composition recital, which took place on 26 May 2014 in my backyard.
There are three distinct sections: 1. Build (tracks 2-5), 2. Break Down (tracks 6-9), and 3. Reconstruct (tracks 10-11).

And here are the selected notes:
Please Stop (2014)
I wrote a Max patch that plays samples at different times, speeds, and dynamics. Using this as a backdrop, I used a program to randomize lyrics, so I can choose and improvise from those.
Ice Blocks (2009-10)
Written in my first year of college for my high school band, Team Awesome & the Style: the peak of my indie pop music.
Gracie Maye (2011)
One of a set of humorous love songs written for my classmates in Music Theory. Unfortunately, this is the only surviving song, I cannot find the others.
Jackson Piano Music (2012)
I spent the summer of 2012 writing music in technological isolation in Jackson, CA. I attempted to reinvent my music, and these piano pieces represent the style of improvisation I explored.
Over an Ocean (2012-13)
The culmination of my endeavors to express the ocean and my depression.
Dance & Fade (2013)
My attempt at accepting impermanence. I resonated with a Yoruba phrase describing our world as one that chips like pottery.
